The RSR Thyroid Peroxidase autoantibody (TPOAb)
ELISA kit is intended for use by professional
persons only for the quantitative determination of
thyroid peroxidase (TPO) antibodies in human
serum. Autoimmune destruction of the thyroid is
associated with the formation of autoantibodies to
thyroid peroxidase. Measurement of these
autoantibodies is of considerable value in the
diagnosis of autoimmune thyroid disease.
